Mission History
Ao final do ano de 2014 o casal Marco e Cláudia foram convidados pelo casal Karll e Kim para vir morar em Caucaia próximo a Fortaleza no Ceará. O plano seria morar em um sítio, propriedade de Karl e Kim Enns com o objetivo de iniciar um trabalho de alcance de crianças no Nordeste. E como anteriormente o casal Marcelo e Lana Alencar já comentavam essa possibilidade e desafiavam Marco e Cláudia para ministério assim, eles virão como vontade de Deus e uma oportunidade de ministério. Assim, saíram de Campinas São Paulo e mudaram para o Ceará. Naquele início de ano reunimos os três casais, Marcelo e Lana Alencar, Karl e Kim Enns e Marco e Claudia Marinho. Idealizamos o projeto missionário e o nome da missão, Camp Nordeste(Centro de Apoio Missional e Pastoral), então começamos a trabalhar com o foco em alcançar as crianças de famílias cristãs. Para alcançar as mesmas por meio de seus pais junto às suas igrejas. Passamos seis meses um preparando, com currículo interativo para esse fim. Após concluir a primeira parte do material iniciamos o material, iniciamos a apresentação e desafio aos pais.
At the end of 2014, the couple Marco and Cláudia Marinho were invited by the couple Karl and Kim Enns to come and live in Caucaia, near Fortaleza, Ceará. The plan would be to live on a farm, owned by Karl and Kim, with the aim of starting to work to reach children in the Northeast. The couple Marcelo and Lana Alencar already commented on this possibility and challenged Marco and Cláudia to a ministry like this, they considered it to be God's will and as an opportunity for this ministry. So, they left Campinas, in São Paulo and migrated to Ceará. At the beginning of the year, the three couples got together; Marcelo and Lana Alencar, Karl and Kim Enns, and finally Marco and Claudia Marinho. They idealized the missionary project and the name of the mission: CAMP Northeast (Center for Missional and Pastoral Support), and we started working with a focus on reaching children from Christian families, to reach them through their parents in their churches. We spent six months preparing, with an interactive curriculum for that purpose. After completing the first part of the material, we started the presentation and challenge to parents.
Mesmo mostrando um material lúdico e interativo para discipulado dos filhos e nos dispondo a treiná-los em como usar, eles não mostraram interesse. Foi então que no final de 2014 recebemos a visita do missionário Steven Zacharias da missão CCI (Children Camp International), e ele nos desafiou a mudar o formato de nosso material e público, com base na experiência que a missão dele estava tendo na Índia alcançando as crianças por meio dos adolescentes e jovens. Assim, estimulados por essa visita e possível apoio também do CCI mudamos nosso currículo para alcançar crianças através das igrejas, por meio do preparo de líderes seja adolescentes, jovens e mulheres e homens. Com o objetivo de realizarem Grupos Pequenos com crianças, em suas residências com o apoio de suas igrejas. Este projeto então foi melhor aceito e começamos a ter maiores resultados. Começamos na cidade de Boa Viagem, depois diferentes idades depois Varjota, Hidrolândia, Maranguape e fomos aumentando o alcance. Atualmente alcançamos 346 cidades em todos os estados do Brasil e em outros Países. Temos 129 coordenações, mais ou menos 1463 líderes e um alcance de aproximadamente 10524 crianças.
Even showing playful and interactive material for discipleship of their children and willing to train them in how they should use it, the parents showed no interest. It was then that, at the end of 2015, we received the visit of missionary Steven Zacharias from the CCI mission (Children Camp International), and he challenged us to change the format of our material and change the audience that should be trained, based on the experience with the mission he was having in India - reaching the children through the teens and youth. So, stimulated by this visit and possible support also from the CCI, we changed our curriculum to reach children through the churches, through the preparation of leaders, including teenagers, young people, women and men. They aim to carry out Small Groups with children in their homes, with the support of their churches. This project was better accepted and we started to have better results. We started in the city of Boa Viagem, then different cities like Varjota,Hidrolândia, Maranguape and we increased the reach. Currently we reach 346 cities in all Brazilian states and other countries. We have 129 coordinations, more or less 1463 leaders and a range of approximately 10524 thousand children reached!
Nossa Missão
Nosso intuito é de nos deixar usar por Deus a fim de sermos um ponto de: acolhimento, multiplicação de bênçãos e mudança de visão com relação a Deus, identidade cristã, comunidade cristã e mundo. Isso é o que chamamos de discipulado. Nosso grupo é aberto àqueles que desejam simplesmente abençoar o próximo e tornar mais vivo o testemunho de que há um Deus e de que a vida pode ser bem mais do que o que estamos vivendo. O CAMP considera relacionamentos com o fundamental para a influência e discipulado de crianças, ou seja, nós procuramos influenciar a igreja para entender que somente se relacionado no cotidiano das crianças através de adultos adolescente ou jovens que aderem ao projeto, se envolvendo com essas crianças brincando, se preocupando com elas, tendo interação para com o ensino da palavra, para solução de conflitos, para com a oração, é que obterá resultados para o futuro e para a vida dela mais duradouros, mais sólidos do que ela ir somente para a escola bíblica aprendendo a bíblia pelo ensino somente.
Our mission
Our intention is to let ourselves be used by God in order to be a point of: reception, multiplication of blessings and change of vision in relation to God, Christian identity, Christian community and the world. That's what we call discipleship! Our group is open to those who simply want to bless others, being a testimony that there is a God and that life can be much more than what we are living. CAMP considers relationships to be a fundamental part of influencing and discipling children. That is, we seek to influence the church so that they understand that only by relating to children's daily lives through adults, teenagers or young people who adhere to the project, getting involved, playing, and worrying about them, having interaction with the teaching of word for conflict resolution, for prayer is what will get more lasting results, more solid for the future and for their lives than going only to Bible school, learning the Bible only by teaching.
